Advanced Charts

The advanced charts in Pyramid are used to plot multiple hierarchies in ways that can be more interesting than a typical Cartesian chart.

Rather than plotting data across Cartesian coordinates, these charts incorporate other visual components, like size, hierarchy, and flows, to present data in alternative ways.

These charts are generally useful at spotting hierarchical relationships and proportional values, rather than exact values and trends over time (for which Cartesian charts are very useful).
